Spring 2021 Season Courses

It’s that time again. Hopefully those of you who have been waiting for a long while on waitlists will get a chance to get registered for a course this Spring. Please click this link to view the Spring Courses. https://www.nvrc.ca/woodworking

Registration is March 3, 2021 at 9am

Last season there was so much demand on the www.nvrc.ca website that it crashed. If this happens again please just hang in there and try again. The site was up and running again in 10 minutes or so.

Students under 19

We are pleased to offer an option to parents of teens between ages 13 and 18 an opportunity to take a course with their teen. BOTH parent and teen need to register for the same course and the parent MUST attend each session. No teen under age 19 may attend a course without being accompanied by a parent for each session of the course.

COVID-19

We are still very much fighting COVID and the Community Woodworking Studio takes it seriously. We request that all users and students in courses adopt our protocols and help keep each other safe from infection.

Urban Toolworks

Urban Toolworks is live! Check out www.urbantoolworks.com. We are starting small but focussed and offering tools that we particularly like using and that we think are great value. It’s hard to decide on what tools are right for you when you are making your first tool purchases. At Urban Toolworks you can try the tools anytime before you buy and chances are you will get to use some in a course. While our inventory has been snapped up faster than we expected but we have some great new tools on the way. Check out our website and COVID safe pick-up can be arranged at the Urban Woodworker studio to save you shipping.
