We often are asked what is the difference between our four session beginner course and the 6 or 7 session beginner courses. Aside from duration and cost it’s just like the description says. The lumber theory, essential safety training and use of the major power tools such as the Joiner Planer and Table saw are the same in Woodworking Basics / Essentials and Woodworking Level 1 . Both also introduce you to the mitre saw (chop saw) and router table but there is less time spent on the table saw and joinery details in the Basics / Essentials course. Both are good courses and the shorter course is often better for those who don’t want to get too technical in the details or who would like a shorter duration. Again they both offer the same foundation learning.
